Presentation No.2 - PechaKucha will be Monday Jan. 24, check your room

Hi everyone,

Hope the PKs are coming along well.

Monday will be the presentation day as scheduled in the syllabus, and we will do the presentations in two rooms, I-101 and H-253, seven students each.


The rooms will be according to your enrollment sign up:

ILC-101 with Mark:

Danielle, Kana Shimizu, Kana Fukushima, Megumi, Madoka, Asuka, Yuta

H-253 with Sylvan:

Noriko, Rei, Sayaka, Saori, Kana Matsushita, Hanna, Midori

Also, each student will need to create an audio + slides movie of the Pecha Kucha and upload it on your blog. You can do this any time before Wednesday 1/26's class.

For the audio, you can record it in the Mac lab with Keynote, export it as a .MOV file, and then upload it to YouTube, and then embed the video on your blog.

PowerPoint might work too--check the Help menu or this link for how to use AuthorStream (http://www.authorstream.com/). Also, when you present in the classroom on Monday, we will record audio, so you have the option of using that actual "live" audio to combine with your slides. If you prefer to do that, please talk to Sylvan about how to use QuickTime Pro.
